This battery isolator switch is designed to cut off the power to the battery quickly in the event of an emergency or to ensure no unexpected power draw from the battery during vehicle storage. This particular isolator switch has 3 connection posts so this can be used to switch between two batteries or to combine the loads of both batteries.
